what is a hypocrite?
according to the Webster’s New Universal Unabridged Dictionary,
hypocrite:
- a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.
- a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, especially one whose private life, opinions or statements belie his or her public statements.
i’m no expert in identifying hypocrites. but i know it when i come across one. and it doesn’t help in any way if i’m the victim of the hypocrisy.
i’m not claiming to be a non-hypocrite. in one way or another, i am certain that i have had committed my own share of hypocrisy. but this is not about me, and this is my blog, so i can rant all i want, right?
so that’s settled then. and i shall rant. now.
- i hate hypocrites.
- especially those who go to the extreme to look like they are the offended party, while they were the ones who started the offense in the first place (well, duh!).
- and those who say one thing and do another.
- and those who tell you that they care, when in fact the things that they do never reflected this "caring".
- and those who fake sincerity when you confront them about their "subtle" hypocrisy.
- and those who deny their hypocrisy when you can see through them like polished glass.
sheesh.
i’m not one to resort to fighting dirty. i just don’t want to be stabbed in the back. (who does?) if you must, fight like a man. should you be a biatch, go all out. go look for allies, but don’t turn everyone against me. don’t smile your sad smiles, then have your evil laugh thunder internally. don’t caress my cheeks, then slap me emotionally. wish me evil, but don’t pray.
DON’T.

fighting dirty.. hmmm, does this involve alot of water, mud and rolling in the ground?
As Terry Goodkind puts it, it’s all about perception, how one plays perception to their advantage. Paul Graham says, “the less confident you are, the more serious you have to act.”
So, you see, it’s part of human’s social manuevers to position themselves on top of other people, at the expense of other people.
Sad but true (*evil laugh*)
