i don’t normally come in for work at 8am. well, since my official work hours are from 10am to 7pm. but it wouldn’t hurt if one comes in a bit early for a good headstart, right?
today was a first for me.
excited to see my office workstation with early morning sunshine streaming through the tinted glass (and for my officemates to see me at this time), i definitely had a spring in my gait as i strutted through my building’s main entrance and with a bright sunny smile, presented my bag to manong alex tupas for inspection.
and i didn’t have to wait for the elevator (imagine that!). it was already ready and waiting to convey me to my floor. everything was going my way. so up i go.
*ding* 25th floor. orient square. just a few steps to the left and my office door awaits. and… guess what? two of my officemates were holding camp in front of the door. all because they can’t get the freakin’ glass doors open.
picture shows my eyeview sitting on the floor in front of our office door, in between officemates mitch and naty, waiting for building engineering personnel to attach a mini-explosive on our door locks to get the damnthing open.

and it’s only a monday.
