oh crap, it’s raining. yes, just like you said, this is like unexpected rain. you step out, and the next thing you know, you’re wet.
i told you, i am no longer the ship skirting the edges of the storm — moved but detached, but already, i have been tossed straight into the turbulent waves and wind. i have steered my course straight into the hurricane, and there’s nothing to be done about it but ride the tide. i guess, this is where i needed to go. the so here i am, dancing..
come…
with me.
funny that despite the fact that i feel so helpless, i dont feel
but instead, i am nurtured, and i feel strangely at peace amidst the chaos. we know what the stakes are, and we know what Reason wants us to do; yet, we forget everything and revel in wild abandon, get reckless, because truly, we only want to be happy.
but sometimes, in the middle of it all, i get assailed by the monsters i’ve created. and..
but on second thought, we said we’d embrace the mystery. and quite frankly, this is exciting. sexy and exciting. we know what we know, without putting the spotlight on what we know and then blowing it out of proportion; and at the same time, looking forward to wherever this storm brings us. quite crazy, if you ask me.
most times, we get drunk in the sound of each other’s laughter, but there are times when we simply hold hands, and understand each other’s silence. that’s when hearts cry. but don’t worry,
and we love stories. so let’s laugh, and cry. and fill our chronicles with fantastic tales.
is this one of those times? come closer, i’ll whisper my thoughts in your ear, just like i often do. but, no disclaimers this time.
ayaw mo pa rin bang gumising? i ask this question to myself severalillion times a day. and yet…
ako, lunod pa rin. run away with me, no… stay. let me run away. ahhhhhhhhhrghhhh!

don’t mind me.

I like the rain. Sometimes it’s a welcome change from all the heat life can bring.
